Got kids? I've got you covered

Updated: 6 days ago

Hello everyone!

Operation "back to school" has officially started! As a parent you might be dealing with a lot right now: uniforms, shoes, lunchboxes, books, supplies, haircuts, snacks! These next few days will be a whirlpool of activity. There will be tears, there will be tantrums, and the kids will have their moments too :)

Teachers are also busy preparing their classrooms, and they deserve all the support we can give them. We can help them by bringing in a few extra supplies, for instance. Or you can donate books for the classroom. Every little bit helps!

Every teacher wants the best for their classroom, I have no doubt. They want a happy, cohesive group that will thrive throughout the year. In my personal experience as a teacher, collage is the absolute best tool to build community, because collage is a vehicle for cooperation, exploration, conversation and togetherness. Who wouldn't want a classroom where everyone is treated with respect and care? Just thinking about it makes me nostalgic for my teaching days!

In this guide you will find three comprehensive, structured, collage based activities for elementary age kids. Each one is inspired by a wonderful book. This time we are focusing on The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and Frederick by Leo Lionni. By following the guide, you can facilitate any of these lessons. It's fun, it's easy, and it's a brilliantly rewarding experience for everyone involved.

So whether you teach or homeschool, this guide is for you. Give your kids the chance to be themselves through creativity.

Get your guide or send it to your favorite teacher. Just enter their email and voila! You may add a sweet note to help them start the year on a happy note. It'll be better than an apple, I assure you.

Go ahead. Spread the love.
